We created a common platform system to manage products and software for a waste to energy plant in the UK
THE PROBLEM
The client had a special requirement in that the APC requirement was for both an Electrostatic Precipitator(ESP) pre-collector and Fabric Filter (fine particulate collection) connected in series and needed commonality of controls.

In this case we could combine our knowledge of ESP and control, creating one cohesive solution for our customer.

OUR SOLUTION
Many plants utilise different package technology suppliers, ending up with different control products and software platforms, which causes a mis-match when integrating into the overall plant control system.
To prevent this issue, we utilised our experience in both ESP power supply and control and PLC automation to develop and produce a common platform system incorporating both systems. This enabled us to develop further Fabric Filter controls which usually require fast switching techniques for pulse jet bag cleaning.
