Case Study: Extending the Lifecycle of ESP Control Systems at an Australian Power Plant
The Challenge
An Australian power station was experiencing declining performance from ageing electrostatic precipitator (ESP) control systems. Obsolete components and lost system knowledge made maintenance difficult, while reduced efficiency highlighted the need to optimise performance without replacing the entire installation or disrupting operations.

Castlet delivered a retrofit upgrade using modern MCS III controllers, restoring control capability while enabling system optimisation.
