Castlet Limited Goes Head to Head in “Dragon’s Den” Style Event

Castlet was one of 60 businesses from across the Midlands to make international contacts potentially worth millions at the Aerospace Opportunities 2009 event in Derby. Sellers were given 15 minutes to pitch their products and services in a series of face-to-face meetings with international buyers.
Des Barnes, aerospace business development manager at Castlet, said: “We found common interests with a number of buyers on the day and our main focus was then on how we could follow up the meetings. Some buyers have also recommended us to their partners.
“A lot of these big companies have requirements that need to be met quickly, and they’re often looking at smaller companies like ourselves to deliver, so I think we have made some inroads here.”
