Castlet complete 1st combination ESP and Fabric Filter control system — Allington Quarry Waste Management Facility – Kent, UK

With the current UK “Landfill” directive, many waste to energy plants will inevitably be built in the UK and Europe. Castlet completed a combined power and control system, for a combination of Electrostatic Precipitator and Fabric Filter on one such plant. (This technique is used to collect both coarse and fine dust, meeting ever decreasing particulate emission limit regulations). This was the first such system Castlet produced, supplied to the German OEM Envirotherm GmbH, and further orders for similar plants are expected over the next few years.
