FABRIC FILTER (FF)
As an alternative and sometimes in addition to ESPs, Fabric (Bag) filters can be used for dust collection. A prime application is where a very fine particulate may require collecting, or when certain properties of the dust mean that the product is difficult to precipitate.
A Fabric Filter requires a sophisticated electrical control system, especially in order to control the cleaning of the filter bags themselves. Castlet provides the electrical system solution often requiring LV Switchgear, PLC and SCADA control, and DCS communications.
